To make our house cleaning services more efficient, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items prior to a visit from our housekeeping teams.
Because we clean Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. most of our customers aren't home but the vast majority trust Busy Living Cleaning with the key to their home. For additional security, all house keys are individually coded, cross-referenced and locked in a safe when not in use.
We can't guarantee what time residential housekeepers will arrive because each home gets the attention it deserves and not a pre-determined amount of time. Still, most homes fall easily into regularly scheduled cleaning time windows between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday – Friday. If for any reason you require a more precise time of arrival, call the office and we will work with you for a convenient solution if possible.
What if something is damaged during a home cleaning?
We treat you and your home with complete respect. If something does unexpectedly break, we do our best to either repair or replace that item. Residential maids are fully insured, so claims are filed when appropriate. See our policy’s page.

That's why we offer a house cleaning service guarantee, which means if you notify Busy Living Cleaning within 24 hours, our house cleaning staff will correct their mistake at no charge.

A $26,000 REASON TO NEVER HIRE AN
BEAUMONT, TEXAS -- A housekeeper who tripped over a crack in a driveway while Hauling a bag of rubbish to the curb was awarded nearly $27,000 in damages. Gloria Landry worked as a housekeeper for R.F. DuBois, Jr. for nearly two decades. She sued him in 2006 after injuring her knee while carrying a large bag of garbage. For 17 years, Landry managed to avoid tripping over any cracks running through DuBois' concrete driveway until June 8, 2005. In her suit, Landry says her part-time employer was negligent for "failing to maintain his property…and warn her of the dangerous condition." Jurors agreed, awarding Landry $12,383.35 in past medical expenses, $9,620 in past physical pain and mental anguish suffered and $4,810 in lost wages. According to Landry's petition, DuBois allowed his driveway to deteriorate. "It is cracked and has moved. These cracks are presently allowing a two-inch height variance in parts of the driveway." While taking the garbage to the street, Landry tripped on the concrete crack. She fell forward on her face, sustaining bruises both above and below the eye and on her chin, and bruised her leg, the suit said. "Landry was an employee of DuBois," the suit said. "DuBois controlled the days she worked, her duties, and supplied the tools she used. Landry was injured in the course and scope of her employment with DuBois. DuBois does not carry workers compensation Insurance coverage."
Do I provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
No. Save your money, because our cleaning service staff comes prepared with all the high quality cleaning supplies necessary. However, because Busy Living Cleaning is flexible, if requested and provided, we are happy to clean with your preferred products.
What happens if I need to reschedule my maid service?
Busy Living Cleaning works with you. Simply call 72-hours before your regularly scheduled home cleaning with a more convenient cleaning time. We will do our best to accommodate your scheduling needs. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, we call to reschedule for a more convenient time. Busy Living Cleaning will also remind you about additional maid services in which you may have expressed an interest. Perhaps that means an additional clean prior to a big holiday party. If you've scheduled that extra holiday cleaning service, canceling or rescheduling does requires 72-hours’ notice.
Payments are due the day of your scheduled home cleaning service. Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a check in the home, made payable to Busy Living Cleaning, our office also accept credit cards.
